In another outreach opportunity we studied trees, their needs, and importance to our environment. At the end of the project all students were able to take home a sapling to plant and grow at home.
Science: Outreach and Exploration
I try to incorporate outreach programs or projects whenever possible to help drive the objectives students are expected to know and understand. When studying habitats and living things, the aquarium outreach program came to help students better understand the concepts being taught.
