Math: 100 Days of School

In the primary grades the build up to the 100th day of school is celebrated every 10th day when Zero the Hero arrives in the classroom and brings with him a special math extension lesson to go with that particular day.  For the actual 100th day of school the day was filled with lessons and activities that revolved around the number 100.  The excitement that stirred in the room was high, and the class would have a great day eating 100 things, writing about what they would do when they are 100 years old, etc.
